Playdough

  • 2 Cups of flour
  • 1 Cup of salt
  • 2 cups of Water
  • 1 Tablespoon of oil (this will stop the dough from hardening)
  • Food Colouring (if required)
  • Medium bowl
  • spoon

    • Method

    Mix the flour and salt into the bowl, add oil and food colouring if required. Add enough water to make the mixture into a dough.

    Knead the dough for a short while before use.

    Paint for Printing

  • 1 Can of shaving foam
  • Powder paint
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • spoon

    • Method

    Spray a good couple of tennis ball size amounts of foam into the bowl. Add enough Powder paint to the colour required and mix together.

    This can be used for most printing ie: Finger printing, pepper printing, fruit painting etc.

    Cornflour Puddles

  • 1 cup of cornflour
  • 1 plastic tray
  • water to mix

    • Method

    Place cornflour in middle of the tray, add water slowly little at a time till able to draw with fingers. Children then can mix with hands and draw pictures in the puddle.
